LETTER TO ADASA NATIONAL COUNCIL SECRETARY ON FILLING OF AO POSTS.

Dear Comrade,

It is brought to the attention of the National Council that the posts of Administrative Officer at AIR, Tiruchirapalli and Madurai are lying vacant. In the case of AIR, Madurai about 5 years back the post was shifted away from Madurai and till date the post has not been returned back. In AIR, Tiruchirapalli after the retirement of the incumbent AO the post has not been filled up. The filling up of the posts of AO in the aforesaid stations was also raised in the last TNZC meeting held on 31.10.15 and the ZC was impressed upon to take up the matter with NC for immediate action. There is severe pressure from the respective ADASA units to fill up the posts immediately. 

Since the role of AO is vita in the day to day administration, apart from the units, even the HOOs are pressing hard to fill up the post. It is learnt that HOO, AIR, Tiruchirapalli has written to our dte. in this regard.

It is seen that after the completion of DPC several posts of AO in various stations have been filled up on promotion, but in the case of above 2 stations no action seems to have been taken by the Dte. Therefore it is requested to take up the matter personally with Dte for filling up the AO posts in Tiruchirapalli and Madurai immediately.
